Henry Shefflin, Richie Power, Colin Fennelly and T. J. Reid have taken time out of their busy schedules to launch the 2014 Kells Kings Charity Cycle for Cois Nore. Now in its third year, organisers are working hard in a bid to repeat the success of the event in previous years.
Cois Nore is a voluntary organisation which was set up to provide compassionate and emotional support for people meeting the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. The centre which is located at 8 Walkin Street, Kilkenny provides holistic advice and support to affected individuals, their carers and families.
Colette Dalton of Cois Nore said “The level of support for the Kells Kings Cycle has been phenomenal to date and we are delighted to be the beneficiary of the event again this year. The village of Kells is blessed with natural beauty and the goodwill of the people of Kells and neighbouring villages is tremendous.”
